Discover all the key updates in World of Warcraft Patch 11.1: Deepflayer. From the starting quests to new Undermine content, reputation tips, weekly events, and alt gearing strategies, this guide will help you navigate the expansion efficiently and make the most of the new features.

Access to Delves: What's Changing?

  • During the pre-season (after Patch 11.1 release), players will only have access to Season 1 Delves (Tier 1-11).
  • Season 2 Delves (Tier 1-3 and Tier 4-11) will become available only with the official start of Season 2, on March 4 (US) / March 5 (EU).

Rewards: What to Know?

  • Valorstones, Undercoins, Radiant Crystals, and Crests: These will remain as Season 1 versions during the pre-season and will be removed at the start of Season 2. Unlike the transition to Season 1, you cannot stockpile these items.
  • Restored Coffer Keys: These won't be obtainable during the pre-season and will be deleted when Season 2 begins.
  • Bountiful Buff: This will not carry over into Season 2.

Patch Start and Portal

  • The patch questline starts in Foundation Hall in Dornogal.
  • Once you unlock the new zone, complete the first quest to activate a portal linking Dornogal to Undermine.

Faction Contracts

  • Cartels of Undermine contracts offer extra reputation from world quests and weekly activities.
  • Early contracts will be expensive; it’s wise to wait for prices to drop.

  • For optimal vehicle control, use WASD keys only, avoiding the mouse. This improves precision and fluidity.

Weekly Quest Completion

There are 3 main weekly quests:
  • Scrapping: Complete 3 scrapping events (around 20:20 every hour).
  • Shipping and Handling: Complete 10 tasks.
  • Price Surge: Starts at XX:30 each hour.
Following this sequence allows completion in roughly 15 minutes.

Daily Rares


  • 10 rares grant 20 reputation each and Adventure Gear up to ilvl 632, great for alts.
  • Killing them can also drop Miscellaneous Mechanica, used to obtain or sell 3 new mounts.

Darkmoon Faire

  • Wait for the Darkmoon Faire to maximize reputation gains. Do only essential tasks and save high-reward ones until the fair is active.

Dornogal Weekly Quests

  • Keep visiting Dornogal for weekly quests, now updated with Undermine Cartel rewards like 1500 reputation and veteran crates.

Checklist System

  • Checklists are daily tasks that provide Valor Stones.
  • Accumulate at least 4 tasks before claiming to maximize rewards.
  • Alternatively, hand them to sub-cartel quartermasters for 500 extra reputation.

Weekly Cartel Rotation

  • Pick a different cartel each week to unlock new quests and boost reputation faster. Rotate factions to maximize progress.

Dungeon Loot Table

Completing an expired Keystone deducts 4 Crests from the values in this table. Normal dungeons drop item level 593 gear that cannot be upgraded.

Upgrade

The Normal, Heroic, and Mythic modes of the Liberation of Undermine and all Mythic dungeons will be available starting March 5. The full difficulty of the raid in LFR mode will be gradually released over several weeks.
All Season 1 Crests, Undercoins, Coffer Keys, and Valorstones will be reset.

Raid Loot Table

Very rare gear obtainable from the following bosses:
  • Boss 5 - Sprocketmonger Lockenstock
  • Boss 6 - The One-Armed Bandit
  • Boss 7 - Mug'Zee, Head of Security
  • Boss 8 - Chrome King Gallywix
Bosses 7-8 drop both types of listed Crests.
Chest loot is based on the difficulty of the bosses you defeated each week.

Delves

Level 11 Fruitful Delves include a Golden Chest upon completion. This chest does not require a key and contains 7 Golden Crests. It can be looted 3 times per week, for a total of 21 Golden Crests per week.

  1. Prosperous Delves start at level 4. Levels 1-3 are the standard version of Delves.
  2. Each level above 4 drops both types of listed Crests.
  3. Digger's Loot Maps can only be used in Prosperous Delves.

Profession

Enchanted Crests can now be purchased directly from the vendor who previously sold Nascent Crests.
